Applications for study at the Tshwane University of Technology for this academic year is fully online. Application for admission to undergraduate study programmes for both South African and international citizens closing on specific dates in the year preceding the year of study.

TUT Online Application date

Applications for admission to TUT open’s on 1 April and closes in September. Check the list of closing dates supplied below to make sure that you submit your application on time. To use the Online Application System you will need internet access, as well as an email address that you can access regularly, because as soon as you submit your online application, a student number (EMPLID) will be sent to this email address as confirmation of receipt.

A few things to remember when applying online to Tshwane University of Technology:

Have you calculated your APS? You’ll need to do this before applying. Find out how.
Be sure to complete the application in full to avoid delays.
All applicants will be required to send a certified copy of your Identification Document (or Passports for international students).
You may not fax any of these documents.

Things to note when applying via hardcopy application:

Do not post cash with your application in the mail. Use postal orders or cheques with registered mail.

Make sure you have attached all relevant supporting documentation.

Late Application

Late applications will be considered only if there is space available in the programmes concerned. TUT can accommodate only a limited number of students per programme.
