University of Fort Hare Online Application 2023-2024

The University of Fort Hare (UFH) has open it online Application for this academic year for Applicant to apply online.

UFH Applications requirement

• 18 years of age
• in good standing at your place of attendance
• 3.0 GPA or better on a 4.0 scale (GPAs under 3.0 will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will require additional documents outlined in a section below)
• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing when program begins. Applicants need to have at least three semesters of course work when they enroll at the UCT (first semester sophomores can apply).  Some local university courses may not be available to students of Sophomore. Lease contact your IES Abroad Representative for more details.

How to  apply UFH online

You should note that, you can do UFH online application only on the institution’s website.

Again, online application to UFH comes with two different and separate forms for Undergraduate and Postgraduate applicants. Therefore, you have to make sure the forms you have picked are the qualification you want to apply for at UFH.

When you choose to apply through online; you will pay a cost of R80.00 which is not refundable.

What you need to apply online are:

1. An email address, if you currently don’t have one, you will have to create one before you can continue to apply.
2. South African applicants will need an ID Number. Foreign Applicant will have to provide a passport number. (Applicant below 18 years old will need a parent/guardian ID Number/Passport Number)
3. You have to meet entry requirements and submit your application form and all the necessary documentation
4. A non-refundable application fee of R80.00is payable by all applicants.

UFH Application form

If you will like to opt for a hardcopy paper-based application and so you can manually fill your forms with a pen, UFH also will provide you with the service. What you will need to do is to download the official application forms from UFC website, or visit any UFH office near you and pick application forms.

After you have your application forms in hand in a hardcopy form, you then follow the filling instructions that are similar to that of online application.

Note that, R120 is the application fee for hardcopy paper-base Undergraduate applicants.

If you are Postgraduate applicant, you will also pay R250.

Fees for hardcopy application forms are also non-refundable to applicant

UFH Application status

Step 1:

• To check University of Fort Hare (UFH) application status go to: http://www.ufh.ac.za/apply/status.html
• You will be redirected to the Student iEnabler login page where you are required to enter your login credentials (student number and password).

Step 2: Check your biographical details if they are correct and update your contact details so that the University of Fort Hare can communicate with you.

Step 3: Still logged in , Under Student iEnabler on the right side of the screen please click on the Student Enquiry Link.

Step 4: Finally, under the Student Enquiry, please click on Academic Admissions Status.
